About Me

Hello! My real name is Alex Sargent, but I've been going by Alex Cuervo for so long and have used that name on so many recordings that it would be kind of dumb to walk away from it now. 

I've been playing, recording and touring in punk rock and garage rock bands for over 30 years (Most recently in Eerie Family, the Hex Dispensers, and a solo project called Espectrostatic).

As far back as I can remember, I've harbored the fantasy of creating music for film and television as I'm a hopelessly incurable genre film and television addict. I love science fiction and horror most of all - and I'm especially drawn to works where they intersect with arthouse sensibilities and aesthetics.
